Wow! So time is really flying by and we are enjoying every minute of our time together in Room 6! We have had an awesome field trip to Tree Hill, a great Holiday party, enjoyable times with our buddy class, a Valentine exchange and much much more! I have taken a few pictures to remember our times together. Enjoy!

- I am so excited for my class this year to have our very own blog website! I think it will provide parents with a nice snapshot of what their child is doing in class each day. I will choose one or two children a few times a week to write a short blog about something that we did in class or something interesting that is worth remembering. I am very happy to be at Lake Lucina for my 2nd year teaching 3rd grade. 3rd grade is the BEST grade and we will have a GREAT year together!

Welcome back!
I hope everyone enjoyed a nice break and will come back to school refreshed and ready to learn! Parents, as soon as I get the benchmark grade results in, I will inform you. Also, you will see the practice FCAT math and reading books coming home this week- please review them with your child, make note of their grade (1-5), sign and return them back to school. I will be keeping them for my data to drive my instruction in the classroom. I will send home scholarship warnings this month so you will know where your child stands academically. Please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
